Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of a power converter by positively using floating capacity existing between a flat board coil conductor and an electrode board.
SOLUTION: A reactor is formed by integrating a magnetic substance board 12 which covers one plane of a spirally shaped flat board coil conductor 11 and a magnetic substance board 13 which covers the other plane. Besides, a power converter circuit and a control circuit are mounted on a semiconductor substrate 20. Furthermore, the end part of an electrode board 23 having a through hole in the central part and being in the same outside shape as the reactor is connected to one end of a series-connected circuit. Besides, an insulating board 24 having a through hole in the central part and being approximately in the same peripheral shape as the reactor is inserted between the electrode board 23 and the semiconductor substrate 20. Furthermore an insulating board 31 in the same peripheral shape as the reactor is inserted between the electrode board 23 and the reactor. Consequently, size and cost reduction of this apparatus becomes feasible, and the apparatus makes a power converter favarable as an interval power source for portable telephones for example.
