Abstract:
To provide a power converter for an AC module that can prevent the occurrence of a spark when a plug is pulled out from a wall socket that is connected to a commercial AC system.
When DC power connected to a solar cell and inputted from it is converted into AC power by a power converting circuit and outputted from the plug to the commercial AC system via the wall socket, the connection state of the plug connected to the wall socket is monitored. If it is detected that the plug is disengaging from the wall socket, the conversion into AC power by the power converting circuit is controlled (stopped, reduced).
