To provide a power device capable of continuing the rotation of an output shaft over a long period of time so as to be applicable to various types of systems.
This power device includes a rotatable output shaft disposed in such a manner that the axis thereof is aligned with the horizontal direction which is perpendicular to the gravitational direction, a plurality of shafts each having one end attached to the output shaft, a plurality of first weights each supported by the other end of each of the shafts, second weights each supported at a position closer to the output shaft than the first weight by each of the shafts so as to be slidable along the shaft, an eccentric guide member for slidably supporting the second weights and causing the path of the rotation of the second weights to be eccentric from the center of the axis of the output shaft, the path being generated by the rotation of the output shaft, and a control device for controlling so as to store power when the rotating speed of the output shaft is high and apply a rotational force to the output shaft when the rotating speed of the output shaft is low.
