In this switch, a movable electrode 33 is rotatably supported corresponding to a fixed electrode 22; both the electrodes 22 and 33 are brought into contact with each other when the movable electrode 33 is rotated in a closing direction; and both the electrodes 22 and 33 are separated from each other when the movable electrode is rotated in an opening direction. On the side of the fixed electrode 22 opposite to the opening direction of the movable electrode 33, a heat radiating part 25 is protrusively formed. Since heat radiation to an internal space of the switch is carried out through the heat radiation part 25, heat radiation efficiency of the fixed electrode 22 is enhanced.
