To provide a power feed facility utilizing solar light generation for ships that can prevent the generation of environmental problems caused by the expansion and increased size in an engine for generating power, and can utilize solar light generation without causing increase in facility costs due to the mount in a storage battery, maintenance costs and dead space, and weight.
The power feed facility utilizing solar light generation for ships comprises plural distribution switchboards that are connected to the lower level of the main distribution panel in the main power feed system of ships where generated power is supplied from a main generator, and a solar light generator for outputting power that is generated by a solar battery while being equipped with the storage battery. A specific distribution switchboard where a specific power load among plural distribution switchboards is connected is composed so that power from the main generation and that from the solar light generator are connected in parallel for supply.
