Title:
POWER GENERATING PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5572614
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity of transfer of operating fluid body at the time of an open inspection of a power generating plant, by installing between an evaporator and a turbine and between the turbine and a condenser stop valves preventing flow out of low-boiling-point media. CONSTITUTION:Heat of hot drain water is given by an evaporator 12 to a low- boiling-point media to obtain steam of the low-boiling-point media. The low-boiling- point media's steam is led to a turbine 13, heat energy is converted to rotary energy and further converted to electric energy by a generator 14. Discharged steam is condensed by a condenser 15 and re-utilized. When a plant is in a normal operating condition, stop valves 18 and 25 are set to OPEN position, and on the other hand, on the occasion of an open inspection of the turbine. if the stop valves 18 and 25 are set to CLOSE position, and inspection or a check can be conducted without bothering to transfer the operating fluid body from the system to a storage tank, and therefore, the plant operating efficiency can be improved.
