Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use the configuration of a power generating system, and to suppress adhesion of marine organisms.SOLUTION: A power generating system includes: a power generating unit which burns fuel to generate power; a flue through which exhaust gas generated in the power generating unit flows; a seawater circulating device which has a pump and supplies seawater by the pump to circulate the seawater between the power generating unit and the sea; and a dissolving device which dissolves carbon dioxide into the seawater flowing downstream of the pump of the seawater circulating device. The dissolving device has a hollow fiber membrane module which brings at least a part of the exhaust gas flowing in an atmospheric pressure atmosphere region of the flue into contact with at least a part of the seawater flowing through the seawater circulating device through a hollow fiber membrane allowing the passage of carbon dioxide and blocking the passage of seawater to dissolve carbon dioxide in the exhaust gas into the seawater.
