PURPOSE: To adjust an energy balance in an iron making factory with ease, by combusting byproduct gas made in an iron making factory and accumulating its heat in an air-heating furnace and driving a gas turbine by high temperature and pressure gas obtained by heat exchange made by supplying air as necessary.
CONSTITUTION: Byproduct gas 10 produced in an iron making factory is combusted in a combustion chamber 2 and its heat is accumulated in an air- heating furnace 1. When necessary, air compressed by a blast furnace blower 5 is supplied to the air-heating furnace 1 and high temperature and pressure air 12 obtained in an air blasting and radiating process is supplied to a gas turbine 4. With this arrangement, an energy balance in the iron making factory can be adjusted with ease because the heat of surplus byproduct gas can be accumulated and it can be utilized a electric power as necessary.
