Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation device and method capable of widening an application range and collecting power as efficiently as possible, and an electronic apparatus employing the same.SOLUTION: A power generation device 1 includes a helical spring 10 and a winding coil 21 as a conductor 20 for converting a variable magnetic field that is generated by applying pressure from the outside to the helical spring 10, into electricity. The pressure from the outside is applied to the helical spring 10 while interposing a magnet 30, the magnet 30 is displaced relatively to the winding coil 21, and the winding coil 30 converts both a variable magnetic field caused by the displacement of the magnet 30 and a variable magnetic field caused by the deformation of the helical spring into electricity. The converted electricity is supplied to a load 40 to be functioned as an electronic apparatus.
