Abstract:
To provide a power generation device and a power generation method capable of generating large electromotive force without using a resonance phenomenon that is difficult to adjust.SOLUTION: A power generation device for generating power by external force includes: a seesaw section that converts the external force into mechanical vibrations; and a power generation section that converts the mechanical vibrations into electric power. The seesaw section includes: an arm that can be moved by the external force; a fulcrum portion that supports at any one point in a longitudinal direction of the arm; elastic members that support the arm in a displacement direction on both sides of the arm sandwiching the fulcrum portion; and weights on both sides of the arm sandwiching the fulcrum portion. The power generation section is disposed on at least one of both sides of the arm sandwiching the fulcrum portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
