Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation facility and a method for installing a generator used for the same which enable transportation and installation of a water flow power generation device to be performed with relative ease even when installing a large-scale water flow power generation device on a support structure.SOLUTION: A method for installing a generator performs: a first step to tow a water flow generation device 3 using a wire by tag boats S1 and S2 with the water flow power generation device 3 floated in or on water by buoyancy; and a second step to allow the water flow power generation device 3 to sink by gravity, bring the same close to a support structure 2 placed on a bottom of the water using a wire and install the water flow power generation device 3 on the support structure 2.
