Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a power generation amount or a power selling amount while considering the influences of the environment around an installation planned site prior to installing a photovoltaic power generation facility.SOLUTION: A power generation amount prediction system includes: a peripheral elevation angle calculating section 18 for determining a maximum elevation angle of an obstacle for sunshine on an installation planned site; a solar position calculating section 22 for calculating an azimuth and a latitude of the sun on a pre-set date on the installation planned site; a sunshine determination section 26 for determining the presence/absence of sunshine by comparing the maximum elevation angle of the obstacle in the calculated azimuth of the sun with the latitude of the sun; a weather information database 32 in which weather information in the past is recorded; a power generation efficiency database 34 in which a power generation amount corresponding to each weather condition; a power generation amount calculating section 24 which refers to the weather information database 32 in cases where it is determined that there is sunshine so as to acquire weather information on the pre-set date on the installation planned site, and refers to the power generation efficiency database 34 to acquire a corresponding power generation amount; and a power generation amount tabulation section 29 for summing up the power generation amount over a predetermined period.
