To provide a power generation method capable of preventing a device from being broken while employing a simple structure, preventing an ecosystem at a place where the device is installed from being disturbed, facilitating maintenance, and readily generating power even in emergency such as disaster.SOLUTION: A method for generating power by mooring a power generation device composed of a rotating object and a mooring component in a flow of a river, an ocean current, a wind or the like is used.
