To provide a power generation plant capable of appropriately maintaining an alignment of a rotary shaft of a turbine.

The power generation plant 1 has a steel frame 2, a gas turbine 3 to be installed on the steel frame 2, a steam turbine 4 and a generator 5. The gas turbine 3, the steam turbine 4 and the generator 5 are linearly arranged on the steel frame 2. Here, the gas turbine 3 and the steam turbine 4 are installed to the steel frame 2 through a connection portion C. In this power generation plant 1, the connection portion C with the gas turbine 3 as well as the steam turbine 4 and the steel frame 2 has a thermal insulation structure to prevent heat transmission from the gas turbine 3 and the steam turbine 4 to the steel frame 2. The thermal insulation structure is, for example, composed of thermal insulation materials 71 located as it remains pinched by the connection portion C with the gas turbine 3 as well as the steam turbine 4, and the steel frame 2.
