To provide a power generation system by which, in an induction power generator provided with a primary winding having a main winding and an auxiliary winding, a power generation converter connected to the auxiliary winding side is inhibited from unstably controlling the induction power generator during a light load operation in which a load current flows only through the auxiliary winding so that power can be further stably supplied.SOLUTION: An induction power generator includes a shaft, a rotor fixed to the outer periphery of the shaft, and a stator disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the rotor. The stator includes a primary winding having a main winding disposed on the entire periphery in the peripheral direction, and an auxiliary winding that is disposed on the entire periphery in the peripheral direction, has a power capacity smaller than that of the main winding, and is connected to a power generation converter. The rotor includes a secondary conductor having a rotor core that has a plurality of rotor slots arranged at a prescribed interval in the peripheral direction and rotor bars inserted in the rotor slots, and rotor slits connecting the rotor slots to the outer peripheral side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
