Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency of power generation using renewable energy.SOLUTION: A power generation system comprises: a reception device which receives renewable energy and generates first power; a potential energy accumulation device which accumulates potential energy using the first power and generates second power larger than the first power using the accumulated potential energy; and a power generation device which converts the second power into electric power. The potential energy accumulation device of the power generation system: is connected to the reception device which receives the renewable energy and generates the first power and the power generation device which converts the second power into the electric power in a manner that can transfer power thereto; accumulates the potential energy using the first power; and generates the second power larger than the first power using the accumulated potential energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
