Abstract:
To provide an electric power generation system capable of generating electric power applicable to insulated wires.SOLUTION: An electric power generation system 10 includes a first module (power reception module 1) and a second module (power supply module 2). The first module is attached to an insulated wire 3. The second module is connected to the insulated wire 3 to apply a high-frequency voltage, which is a voltage with a frequency higher than the commercial frequency, across multiple conductors. The first module has multiple electrodes and a power circuit. The multiple electrodes are arranged to face multiple conductors of the insulated wire 3. The power circuit is connected to multiple electrodes. The power circuit generates electric power from the voltage including the above high-frequency voltage applied to the multiple conductors, and electric energy generated by a capacitance between each of the multiple conductors and the corresponding multiple electrodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
