Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance energy efficiency of the whole system furthermore, by performing hot water storage operation by the power generation surplus power when the system voltage exceeds a predetermined output suppression control start voltage, while utilizing the surplus power of solar cells effectively by normally purchasing the surplus power, thereby not suppressing the output as much as possible.SOLUTION: A power generation system with a hot water storage function includes a hot water storage device 3 capable of performing heat storage operation by consuming the generated power of a photovoltaic power generator 1. If the system voltage exceeds a predetermined output suppression control start voltage when the generated power is flowing reversely to the system, power consumption in the heat storage operation of the hot water storage device 3 is increased before starting the output suppression control and the reverse flow power is decreased. Consequently, the need for output suppression is eliminated, and the power generation surplus power is converted into thermal energy and hot water is stored in the hot water storage device 3.
