In this power generation system wherein dried timber fuel and coke are mixedly used as fuel for power generation, the timber dried with the usage of exhaust heat of an internal combustion engine of a carrying vessel or a vehicle transporting is used as the timber fuel. Concretely, a drying device for heating and drying the timber fuel by the exhaust heat from the internal combustion engine is installed in the carrying vessel or the vehicle. The timber fuel is preferably dried to a moisture content of the coke used as the fuel of a boiler with the timber fuel.
