Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system capable of applying voltage to a power generation element with good responsiveness in accordance with a temperature change of the power generation element and capable of improving power generation efficiency.SOLUTION: A power generation system 1 includes: an engine 11; an exhaust pipe 17; a power generation device 6 including a power generation element 3 and a first electrode 4; an exhaust pipe 17; a temperature detection device 7 including a temperature detection element 35 and a second electrode 36; a voltage application device 9; and a control device 10. The power generation element 3 and the temperature detection element 35 are dielectric substances both having Curie points, and the Curie point of the temperature detection element 35 is equal to or higher than a temperature which is lower than the Curie point of the power generation element 3 by 50°C.
