Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize hydrogen that is generated as a by-product in a plant, while maintaining power generation efficiency of a gas turbine generator.SOLUTION: A power generation system 100 includes: a gas turbine generator 110 which converts rotation energy into power, the rotation energy being obtained by rotating a turbine 116 with a post-combustion gas generated by combusting a fuel; a carbon-dioxide recovery part 120 for recovering carbon dioxide from the post-combustion gas exhausted from the gas turbine generator 110; and a methane manufacturing device 150 for manufacturing methane while using the carbon dioxide recovered by the carbon-dioxide recovery part 120 and hydrogen as raw material gas. The gas turbine generator 110 uses the methane manufactured by the methane manufacturing device 150 as a part or all of the fuel.
