Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system improved in heat efficiency and heat generation efficiency in comparison with a conventional one.SOLUTION: A power generation system includes a saccharification/fermentation vessel 1 for manufacturing a low-concentration ethanol aqueous solution by fermentation of biomass, an ethanol aqueous solution distillation tower 4 for obtaining a high-concentration ethanol aqueous solution by distilling the low-concentration ethanol aqueous solution, an engine 6 generating power by utilizing the high-concentration ethanol aqueous solution, a reformer 11 for manufacturing a reformed gas including hydrogen by reforming the low-concentration ethanol aqueous solution and/or the high-concentration ethanol aqueous solution, a reformed gas supply system 51 for supplying the reformed gas manufactured by the reformer 11 to the engine 6, an exhaust heat supply system 52 for supplying an exhaust gas of the engine 6 to the ethanol aqueous solution distillation tower 4, and an exhaust heat supply system 53 for supplying the exhaust gas of the engine 6 to the reformer 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
