Abstract:
To solve the problem in a well-known submerged turbine wherein it is required to carefully seal a power generator assembling body provided as part of the turbine to prevent water immersion and it is difficult to maintain the turbine.
A generator assembling body 20 is provided on the sea, and fluid is supplied to the generator assembling body 20 from a pump means driven by a submerged turbine unit 10 via conduits 30. Since the generator assembling body 20 is mounted in particular on a platform on the sea separately from a turbine housing to seal the generator assembling body 20, this structure eliminates the necessity to prevent immersion of seawater, facilitates maintenance and reduces construction and maintenance costs.
