The power generator 10 includes: a planar body 12 vibrating by a fluid flow; energy conversion sections 20 converting vibration energy generated by the vibration of the planar body 12 into electric energy; transmission sections 16 transmitting the vibration energy generated in the planar body 12 to the energy conversion sections 20; towing sections 22 towing the transmission sections 16; and a strut 14 fixed to a building, the ground or the like. One end of each of a plurality of string-like members 16 is fixed to a portion on one side of the planar body 12 on the side of the strut, and the other end of each of the plurality of string-like members 16 is fixed to each of the energy conversion sections 20 and towing sections 22. The power generator is configured to be gradually separated from the planar body 12 along a direction perpendicular to the surface of the planar body 12 from the one end of each of the string-like members 16 toward the other end of each of the string-like members 16.
