Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase brake responsiveness in power generator.SOLUTION: A power generator comprises: a power generating stator that is disposed on an inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical housing, and that generates a magnetic field for power generation; a rotation shaft that is supported in the housing so as to rotate; a power generating rotor on which a coil is formed, and which is disposed integrally with the rotation shaft so as to rotate in opposing the power generating stator; a control stator, disposed in the housing, for generating a magnetic field for control; a control rotor on which a coil is formed in reverse phase with the power generating rotor, and which is integrally attached to the rotation shaft in opposing the control stator; and a control circuit that reduces rotation of the power generating rotor by detecting a state in which the rotation of the power generating rotor has reached a certain level or greater, and supplying the control stator with power.
