Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator capable of restricting the reduction in a current speed in a region on the downstream side of a structure in a composition in which a downwind type turbine part is connected by the structure.SOLUTION: A power generator 1 comprises: a plurality of downwind type turbine parts 4 that respectively include a plurality of turbine blades 6 and that are disposed to be spaced in the transverse direction crossing rotation axes La and Lb of the turbine blades 6; a connection structure 3 that extends along the transverse direction and that connects the plurality of turbine parts 4; and a current speed reduction restriction part 20 provided at an end part 3d on the turbine blades 6 side of the connection structure 3 in the direction of the rotation axes La and Lb for restricting the reduction in the current speed of fluid passing through the connection structure 3. The current speed reduction restriction part 20 generates an obliquely downward flow with respect to the rotation axes La and Lb in fluid on the turbine blades 6 side of the connection structure 3, and generates an obliquely upward flow with respect to the rotation axes La and Lb in fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
