Title:
発電装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5830468
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
A small sized power generator is provided, being highly efficient in power generation. The power generator 50 of the present invention has a heat-light conversion element 2 for converting heat to infrared light and a semiconductor power generation cell 3 for converting the infrared light to electrical energy. The heat-light conversion element 2 includes a material in which a reflectance is higher on a long wavelength side of a predetermined infrared wavelength, relative to the reflectance on a short wavelength side thereof, and the material causes radiation of the infrared light upon heated. Heat from a heat source is transferred to the heat-light conversion element 2, thereby radiating the infrared light. The semiconductor power generation cell 3 converts this infrared light to electrical energy, thereby performing thermal power generation. In order to heat the heat-light conversion element, it is further possible to configure such that a light collection optical system is provided for collecting sunlight toward the heat-light conversion element, and this configuration enables solar thermo-photovoltaic power generation.
