Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator capable of obtaining a predetermined power, while making the device compact.SOLUTION: A power generator including a photothermal power generation element having an emitter 1 for emitting electrons by receiving light and heat, and a collector for capturing the electrons emitted from the emitter 1, and generating power between the emitter-collector is further provided with condensing irradiation means 4 for irradiating the emitter 1 while condensing sunlight L with correction efficiency of 10-100 times, and heating means 7 for heating the emitter 1 to a temperature of 650K or more. Bandgap of a semiconductor composing the emitter 1 is selected to 0.8-1.6 eV.
