Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line information outlet which easily makes the most use of even an electronic component of small constituent elements forming a power line network as constituent elements of the power line network.
SOLUTION: The information outlet comprises a power line modem 1 connected to a power line laid in a home for transmitting or receiving data, a sensor 10 or a switch 11 for detecting or inputting the data, an indicator 12 or an alarm unit 13 for receiving the data to provide a given indication or given alarm based on the received data, and a controller 2 for coding detected data or input data from the sensor 10 or the switch 11 to feed the modem 1 therewith and for decoding data received by the modem 1 to feed the indicator 12 or the alarm unit 13 therewith. The modem 1, the senor 10 or the switch 11, the indicator 12 or the alarm unit 13 are mounted together on one mounting member (plate).
