Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management system which can perform power management for each user even when a user uses an apparatus that is not internally equipped with a power meter.SOLUTION: A power management system comprises a monitoring unit, an authentication unit, a third information generation unit and a third information storage unit. The monitoring unit monitors power consumption of respective apparatuses, and generates first information associating each piece of apparatus information identifying an apparatus with power consumption information indicating power consumption of the apparatus identified by the apparatus information. The authentication unit authenticates a user who uses an apparatus. On the basis of the first information and second information associating user information identifying the authenticated user with the apparatus information of the apparatus used by the authenticated user, the third information generation unit generates third information associating the user information and the power consumption information. The third information storage unit stores the third information.
