Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch over between motors coupled to the output shaft or driving shaft while outputting the demanded power to the driving shaft even when the charge and discharge of the secondary batteries are restricted. SOLUTION: The engine 22 is regulated so that an ODC clutch 52 and UDC clutch 54 are in the coupled state for the direct connection of the engine 22 and the driving shaft 26 when the revolution of the driving shaft 26 agrees with that of the engine 22, and that the torque of the engine 22 agrees with the torque demanded by the driving shaft 26. The torque directives are then set at zero for the motors MG1 and MG2 and the operation of the DC/DC converter 74 is stopped, which prevents the charge and discharge of the main battery 60. Either the ODC clutch 52 or UDC clutch 54 is then uncoupled and the control of both engine 22 and DC/DC converter 74 is returned to the original state. The motors MG1 and MG2 are placed under the post-switchover control for the completion of switchover.
