To more properly decide that it is impossible to normally start an internal combustion engine by using a power from an electricity accumulating device, and to more surely start the internal combustion engine in such a state.
A start power Wstart required for starting an engine is set based on outside temperature Tout, and a dischargeable power Wbout is set based on a residual battery capacity (SOC) and a temperature Tb, and whether or not it is possible to normally start the engine is decided by comparing the two energies (S110 to S130). When the dischargeable power Wbout is less than the start power Wstart, two motors are rotated, and the engine is cranked and started by using the rotational energy of the motor (S210 to S320). Thus, it is possible to more accurately decide whether or not it is possible to normally start the engine, and to surely start the engine even when it is decided that it is not possible to normally start the engine.
