Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating plant and a power generating plant control method capable of improving a heat cycle efficiency more as compared with that of the prior art.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a power generating plant provided with a steam adjusting valve for feeding main steam applied from a steam generator into a turbine while its flow rate is being controlled. This plant comprises a valve including a back-sheet structure that constitutes said steam adjusting valve; a valve having no back-sheet structure not including said back sheet structure but constituting said steam adjusting valve; and a control device for controlling a valve opening degree to cause said valve including the back-sheet structure to be full-opened and not to cause said valve not including the back-sheet structure to be not fully opened under a rated load operation, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
