Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the time and labor required for repositioning of a crankcase with respect to a jig during post-casting machining of the crankcase in a power plant for a vehicle equipped with a swash plate type hydrostatic continuously variable transmission.
SOLUTION: A line segment L which connects the center 01 of a driving shaft varying-speed shaft) 43 of the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 40 to a center 02 of a ball screw (driving shaft for altering the ratio) 64 of a ratio altering mechanism is located parallel to a joint face between the crankcase 10 and a cylinder block 13, and the ratio detection sensor 121 is bolted onto an upper wall 113, under the condition that an axis C2 of a shaft 122 for detection is arranged coaxially with a revolving axis C1 of a swash plate holder 85 orthogonal to the line segment L. As a result, the axis C2 of the shaft 122 for detection is brought to be parallel to a cylinder axis C0, and the axes of machining for the crank chamber 10C and for the fitting face for the ratio detection sensor 121 are placed in parallel.
