To provide a water quality monitoring system for a power generation plant, capable of preventing a fault or the like by promptly detecting abnormal water quality, a water quality monitoring method and a water quality monitoring program therefor, and a power generation plant.SOLUTION: The water quality monitoring system for a power generation plant 1 comprising a water circulation system, comprises a state estimating part that estimates a state value of a specified unmeasurable parameter that cannot be measured by a sensor according to a state value of a specified measurement parameter acquired successively from a sensor (for example, Sa1 to Sa9 or the like) in the power generation plant 1, a water quality diagnosing part that diagnoses water quality in the power generation plant 1 according to the state value of the unmeasurable parameter estimated by the state estimating part, and an operation controlling part that controls the operation of the power plant 1 according to the diagnosis result obtained by the water quality diagnosing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
