PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address a problem that, when power having a great current value is supplied from a power supply device to a power reception device, a loss (heat generation or voltage reduction) caused by the wiring resistance of a connection cable is large.SOLUTION: A power reception device which is connected to a power supply device via a power reception path is configured to include measuring means for measuring a loss in the power reception path, and setting means for setting a reception power to be received from the power supply device on the basis of the measured loss.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
