Abstract:
To maintain high turbine efficiency in a power recovery mechanism for directly shaft-coupling an impulse turbine, a compressor and an electric motor.SOLUTION: A power recovery mechanism 20 is provided at a refrigeration device 10. The power recovery mechanism 20 includes: a plurality of branch flow passages 25 branched from a refrigerant flow passage P; an opening/closing valve 27 for adjusting the flow rate of a refrigerant provided at each of the branch flow passages 25; a nozzle 23 for discharging the refrigerant provided at each of the branch flow passages 25 further on the downstream side than the opening/closing valve 27; an impulse turbine 21 rotating by a jet flow J of the refrigerant discharged from the nozzle 23 acting; and a controller 30 for controlling the flow rate of the refrigerant passing through each opening/closing valve 27. The controller 30 adjusts the flow rate of the refrigerant in the plurality of opening/closing valves 27 according to the fluctuation of a load of the refrigeration device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
