Abstract:
PURPOSE:To form a power saving control device for an inductive load with a high energy saving effect by generating an output signal corresponding to the load condition of the inductive load and controlling the conduction ratio of a semiconductor switch. CONSTITUTION:The title device is equipped with a semiconductor switch circuit 30 to make variable a direct current exciting current connected between a control winding 26 and a direct exciting power source 28 and supplied to the control winding 26, a load condition detecting circuit 32 to generate the output signal corresponding to the load condition and a control circuit 34 to respond to the output signal, control the conduction ratio of the semiconductor switch circuit 30 and adjust the output voltage in response to the load condition. The control circuit 34 responds to responds to an output signal (f) of the load condition detecting circuit 32, controls the conduction ratio of a semiconductor switch 88, and thus, controls an exciting current I' and adjusts the output voltage supplied from a control reactor 24 to an inducting load 18 so that a power factor goes to '1'. Thus, the inductive load 18 is driven always by an optimum power in accordance with the load condition and a wide energy saving effect can be obtained.
