Abstract:
To provide a power saving support apparatus to a network apparatus for long-term continuous operation, such as a server.
The power saving support apparatus 201 includes: at least two network interfaces including a network interface connected to a network 109; an information processor power source checking unit for determining whether an information processor 107 is in a power saving state or in an operation state; a proxy response unit for making a response instead of the information processor for the communication to the information processor received by the network interface; and a bridge operating unit for allowing the communication between the two network interfaces to pass through as it is.
