Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform such control as making a seat unoperational at a time when an object exists on the seat or in its vicinity as well as to prevent the insertion of feed and baggage from occurring, by installing an oblect presence detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate seat 110 and a back seat 120 are constituted of a power seat, controlled by a control part CONT and operated by an operating switch SW. On a floor surface around a seat of a cab, pressure sensing conductive rubber devices 701-706 are set up, while each of seating sensors 601-605 is embedded in a seat cushion, detecting the presence of an object. When the presence of the object is detected by these pressure sensing conductive rubber devices 701-706 and seating sensors 601-605, such control as making the seat unoperational is carried out, thus the insertion of feed and baggage is prevented from occurring.
