Abstract:
To obtain a power seat with a catching prevention function.
The power seat (200) having a seat (300) capable of being lifted and lowered by a lifter mechanism (400) having a power source (500) is provided with a touch sensor (600) arranged at one of two members between which a distance is increased or decreased according to the lifting and lowering of the seat and a control means for inhibiting the operation of the lifter mechanism in a seat-lowering direction based on a detection signal of the touch sensor. The touch sensor is a capacitance type touch sensor. The touch sensor has a flexible detection electrode and a ground electrode which faces the detection electrode with a gap.
