Abstract:
To provide a semiconductor device which allows changeover of a plurality of interfaces without changes in hardware, such as the changeover of an internal switch.
A control portion 1 of an inverter device 100 is provided with a universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter(UART) 1A. In addition, the control portion is provided with an exclusive interface determining portion 1B, which when a break code is detected by the UART 1A, determines an interface fed with the break code as an exclusive interface, and gives instructions to the components of the control portion 1 so that communication with the external is performed exclusively via the exclusive interface.
