Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary power consumption in case of variation in the voltage of an external supply power source, by providing a constant current element between the connection points between pins to which the external supply power source is connected and the series circuit of Zener diodes. CONSTITUTION:A voltage VGG applied between the pins T1 and T2 is divided by diodes 4-7 in a stationary operation state and supplied to a memory circuit 8 and a driving circuit 9 as voltages VZD and VDD of power supply outputs W1 and W2. A resistance 18 for current limitation is set to a value great enough to flow the current LL of the main power supply output W2 from the constant current element 15. Then, a fine current is flowed through the resistance 18 as the memory current output W1 to the memory circuit 8. Consequently, even when the power supply voltage rises, the electric power is not consumed unnecessary by the resistance 18 and diodes 4-7.
