PURPOSE: To obtain a power source device of a remote controller of a TV set, etc. that prevents false operation, by surely bringing a remote control power switch in a remote control circuit to conditions before service interruption even when line voltage is again fed to an apparatus after there happens service interuption.

CONSTITUTION: When closing a main power switch 2, DC voltage is generated from a power source circuit 3 containing a rectifying smoothing circuit and a stabilizing circuit, and the voltage is applied to a remote control power switch 5 of a remote control circuit 4. Since a switch 8, which is in a closing condition for a short time when closing the main power switch 2, is mounted to a control signal generating circuit 9, the switch 8 is closed for a short time when closing the main power switch 2, a control signal is put out from the circuit 9 and said switch 5 is closed through a control circuit 7 by the signal. Thus, the load circuits 6 of a TV set, etc. are controlled by a remote control signal from a terminal 10.
