To provide a portable power source device which can charge a secondary battery without being restricted by the place of use.

In this power source device, a small-sized generator constituted of a magnet ring 16, which is jointed integrally with a rotating member 11, and a coil 18 outside the magnet ring 16, is installed in a case main body which has almost the same outward form as that of a cartridge for general purpose and in which the rotating member 11, having a center hole 13 into which a motor shaft of a drive device for driving the cartridge is inserted, is installed. The power source device is also provided with a charging circuit 40 which is charged with the small-sized generator, a secondary battery charged with the charging circuit 40, and a connector part 43 supplying a power from the secondary battery to external equipment.
