Abstract:
PURPOSE:To supply a stable DC voltage to a load even if an AC power source voltage changes by switching and supplying an AC input power source to a tap corresponding to the range of a detected voltage. CONSTITUTION:The low tap N1 of the primary coil of a power source transformer is connected to a power source in the lower limit of the changing range of a power source voltage, while in its upper limit the power source is connected to the high tap N3 of the primary coil of the power source transformer. As a result, more than half of the power is supplied. At a voltage V1 the action that a current is branched into high and low taps of the primary coil of the power source transformer starts, and at a voltage V1'' the primary side high tap N3 of the power source transformer supplies much of power to an output, whereby the DC voltage V3 supplied to the load can be kept constant in the changing range of the power source voltage.
