Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a power source for a grid pulse traveling wave tube able to disconnect respective power sources within a short time of several ten μS after the generation of abnormality in a working grid pulse traveling-wave tube.
CONSTITUTION: In the output circuit of a grid pulse power source 3, a 1st. clover circuit 12, a 2nd clover circuit 11 and a trigger control circuit 8 to control the timing of triggers for the 2nd clover circuit 11 are provided. Thereby the response time to stop the operation of the grid pulse power source required to operate the 1st. clover circuit after the generation of abnormal phenomena can be reduced to several μS from ten and several mS.
