Title:
POWER SOURCE PROTECTION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003308123
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a power source protection circuit capable of stopping the supply of a power to electric equipment when a DC power source is turned not only to an overvoltage but also to a reduced voltage.

A first circuit 10 is configured so that when an overvoltage is sensed by a first overvoltage sensing element 14, a first semiconductor switching element 12 can be put into a non-conductive state, and in the other case, the semiconductor switching element 12 can be put into a conductive state. A second circuit 20 is configured so that when the overvoltage is sensed by a second overvoltage sensing element 4, a semiconductor switching element 6 can be put into a conductive state, and in the other case, the semiconductor switching element 6 can be put into a non-conductive state. A relay operation circuit 25 is configured of a coil 3c, a third semiconductor switching element 7 for controlling the operation of the coil 3c, and a reduced voltage sensing element 5 for sensing a reduced voltage. When the overvoltage is sensed by the first overvoltage sensing element 14 and the second overvoltage sensing element 7, and when the reduced voltage is sensed by the reduced voltage sensing element 5, the third semiconductor element 7 is put into a non-conductive state, and contacts 3a and 3b of the power line 12 are turned off.
