Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a power source for a vehicle in which assembly steps can be remarkably used commonly and a cost can be reduced by integrating rectifier assembly components with an AC generator.
CONSTITUTION: The power source for a vehicle comprises an AC generator 1 placed in the vehicle, and a rectifier 3 arranged in a bracket of the generator to rectify an AC voltage of the generator by paired rectifier elements 20a, 20b to supply it to an electric load, a battery of the vehicle. An output terminal 13B is inserted to a gap 21 formed by oppositely disposing the rectifier elements of the rectifier to be fixed to lead terminals 22a, 22b of the elements and coil leads 25 of an armature, wherein a through conductor is inserted to the gap 21 externally of a bracket 18 as an output terminal 13B and fixed out of the bracket.
