Abstract:
PURPOSE: To alleviate a distortion of an input current by continuously turning ON a switching element of a chopper while a voltage rectified from an AC power source and to be input to the chopper is low in the vicinity of a zero- cross of the power source.
CONSTITUTION: An AC power source 1 voltage is rectified by a rectifier 2, input to a chopper 3, and its output voltage VDC is supplied to a load 5. An error between an output voltage Vr of a DC voltage setter 6 and a DC voltage Vd detected by a detector 7 is amplified by an amplifier 8, and input to an input current command generator 10. On the other hand, an output S of an input current reference wave generator 9 is input to an input current command generator 10, and an input current command value r is output. An output i3 obtained by amplifying an error between a current im detected by a CT 11 and the value r by an error amplifier 12 is compared with an output (c) of a triangular wave generator 13 by a switching pattern generator 16, a switching signal Sd is generated, and a switching element 32 is turned ON, OFF through a switching element driver 15. Thus, a distortion of an input current is removed.
